I'm a mostly self-taught artist, (I took art every semester in high school, I love to take classes, and I watch a lot of tutorials on YouTube because I'm an Art Champ) and I paint to express myself, relax myself, distract myself, and even to challenge myself.

I'm fascinated with the absurdity of life and love to express that through abstract representations of the shape rather than photo-realism, simplifying it until the point of nonsense, painting it in fantasy-inspired color schemes, and experimenting with playful subjects.

I wanted to fill up my spare bedroom with paintings of dinosaurs, and so I did. And then I did it again with vibrant paintings of the view from my balcony - the Walterdale bridge in Edmonton AB - in extremely simple shapes and forms, and all of a sudden I had a home studio.

Then friends and family were interested in my art, people on the internet seemed interested in my artwork, and I decided to give it a shot - put it out into the world and the inter-web and tell people that I am here, making these crazy and enjoyable paintings, come find me and let's be Art Pals!

I like to have a butt ton of fun, and I don't take myself too seriously. Because life is too short, let us enjoy ourselves, maybe we should decorate our walls with all of the colors!

I've been performing professionally around Western-Canada for over 15 years - tickling the ivories, squeezing an accordion, and singing all of your favorite guilty pleasures - and now I've got one more new outrageous adventure to share with you! I don't just want to sing about the weird shit in my head, I want to SHOW you as well!
